THE League Two match between Newport County AFC and local rival Bristol Rovers will now kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday, March 19, at Rodney Parade.

A club statement says: "The change to the scheduled kick-off time comes at the advice of Gwent Police, with an expected bumper crowd and Six Nations rugby in Cardiff."

Wales host Italy in Cardiff in their final Six Nations match at 2.30pm on March 19.

County's games at home to Carlisle United on February 13 and away to Exeter City on February 20 have also been moved forward previously. Both will kick-off at 1pm.

The February 13 fixture is on the same day as Warren Gatland's men take on Scotland at the Principlaity Stadium at 4.50pm.

The Exeter match was moved forward at the request of Devon and Cornwall Police.

The Exiles ticket office is open from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays when there is a home game, with extended opening hours until 7pm on the day before home fixtures.

It is also open for one hour after home fixtures for future match purchases.
