WINGER Alex Rodman has been linked with a move to Notts County after reportedly turning down a new deal at Newport County AFC.
The Nottingham Post is reporting that the Meadow Lane outfit, managed by former Exiles boss John Sheridan, “are hoping to wrap up a deal” for the 29-year-old.
Rodman played under Sheridan at Rodney Parade before the latter left to join Oldham Athletic in January.
One of Rodman’s five goals for Newport last season came during a 4-3 defeat to the Magpies in December.
Rodman, according to the Nottingham Post, has rejected a contract offer from Exiles chief Warren Feeney.
Newport declined to comment on the reports.
