NEWPORT County AFC have confirmed the appointment of Graham Westley as manager.
A club statement reads: "Following the departure of Warren Feeney last week, the board of directors engaged with a number of potential candidates who had shown an interest in the vacancy.
"They also made contact with a number of figures that fitted the profile of candidate the club was looking for, which included approaching Westley regarding the vacant manager’s position.
"The candidates were narrowed down to a shortlist before interviews with five candidates for the role of first team manager.
"The board were unanimous in their decision to appoint Graham, due to his extensive managerial experience in the Football League.
"Graham’s appointment will take effect on Monday, October 10, with Sean McCarthy and James Bittner taking the squad for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Colchester United.
"Graham will be presented to the media at a press conference on Monday."
