NEWPORT County AFC are set for a reunion with former manager Justin Edinburgh and fellow promotion hero Sam Foley in a pre-season friendly.
The Exiles will travel to Sixfields to take on Edinburgh’s Northampton Town on July 29 (kick-off 3pm).
Edinburgh, who led County to promotion to the Football League in 2013, took charge at the League One side in January after being sacked by Gillingham.
He signed up Foley (above), a key part of County’s 2010 Conference South winning side, this summer after the midfielder left Port Vale.
Current Exiles midfielder Ben Tozer will be up against his former club, much to his delight.
If Carlsberg did pre season friendlies, it would look a lot like this. 👍🏻 https://t.co/LHJZhpfq46
