NEWPORT County AFC are on the hunt for a new chief executive after it was revealed that Alex Tunbridge will be leaving the club at the end of June.
Tunbridge, who joined the Exiles in January 2017, will take up a role as chief executive at his hometown club Stevenage ahead of the 2018-2019 season.
He previously spent seven years at Stevenage as head of foundation and then managing director of their academy between 2009 and 2016.
A statement on the County website reads: "The club wishes to place on record its thanks for the excellent job Alex has undertaken in challenging circumstances.
"Whilst it is disappointing to see him go he goes with the best wishes of everyone at the club.
"The club will shortly commence the recruitment process for his successor."
