NEWPORT County AFC have announced that next week’s pre-season friendly against Undy AFC will be played in Chepstow.

Due to Undy having a new pitch installed ahead of the 2018-2019 season, the match will instead be taking place at Chepstow Town Larkfield Park ground on Friday, July 13 (kick-off 6.45pm).

Tickets will cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions (over-65s and under-16s) and a match day programme will be available for £2.

County fans are advised that parking at Larkfield Park is very limited so it is suggested that supporters share cars where possible.

Chepstow is also easily reached by bus and train and the ground is just a 15 minute walk from Chepstow town centre.

There is a bar onsite at the ground for food and beverages for supporters.

Prices for the Exiles’ pre-season friendly against Hereford FC at Edgar Street on July 21 (kick-off 3pm) have also been announced.

Seats will cost £10 for adults, £9 for concessions (pension age/student ID), £5 for those aged 16 to 18 (proof of age will be required) and £1 for under-16s.

Terrace tickets are £9 for adults, £8 for concessions, £4 for those aged 16 to 18 and £1 for under-16s. Children aged under five get in free.

Tickets will be available to purchase online from 10am on Monday on the Hereford FC website and collected at the away turnstile on the day of the game.

Tickets will also be available to buy on the day of the game from the away turnstile (cash only).

Away tickets will not be available to buy from the match-day ticket office on the day of the game. The turnstiles will open at 2pm.

Any disabled supporters are asked to contact the club on 01432 268 257 to arrange access.

County supporters will be able to use Addison's Bar at Edgar Street before and after the match. This will be shared with Hereford supporters.

To access the stadium supporters will need to exit the bar and enter the ground via the turnstiles.

Once inside the stadium, there is a snack bar but this is cash only.

County begin their pre-season friendly programme at home to Championship club Bristol City next Wednesday night (kick-off 7.30pm).

The venue for this match has yet to be confirmed but is likely to be Spytty Park.

After the visit to Chepstow to play Undy, Michael Flynn’s men then go to Chippenham on July 14 (kick-off 3pm) and Penybont on July 18 (kick-off 7pm).

After the match at Hereford they conclude their preparations for the new campaign at home to Stoke City under-23s on July 28 (kick-off 3pm).

The venue for that match is also still to be confirmed but it is hoped that the Rodney Parade pitch will be ready to host the Exiles and the young Potters.

County’s League Two campaign starts at Mansfield Town on August 4 with their first home game of the new season against Crewe Alexandra on August 11.

Season tickets are on sale at the club’s temporary ticket office at The Neon in Clarence Place this week.

The ticket office is open from 10am to 3pm every day this week and fans can also buy their season tickets online at the club’s website.
