WALES’ hopes of avoiding a World Cup 2015 group of death were shattered today when they drew Australia and England in Pool A.

Warren Gatland’s men were beaten by Australia 14-12 on Saturday following on from a 3-0 series whitewash Down Under in the summer.

England, on the other hand, are riding high following a sensational 38-21 victory over the All Blacks and could offer even tougher opposition come 2015.

Scotland have drawn South Africa and Samoa in Pool B and Ireland will face France and Italy in Pool D.

The All Blacks are in Pool C where they will do battle with Argentina and Tonga.
