BRIGHT Newport Gwent Dragons prospect Tyler Morgan moves back to the wing for Wales Under-20s' Junior World Championship warm-up against their Scottish counterparts tomorrow evening, writes Chris Kirwan.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a terrific end to the season for the Rodney Parade region with a pair of marvellous displays against the Ospreys and Treviso in the number 13 jersey.

The Coleg Gwent student was man of the match against the Italians, scoring one belting try and setting up another, but moves from midfield for the encounter at Bridgend's Brewery Field (kick-off 8pm).

Morgan will have 14 on his back – as he did for the Under-20s in the Six Nations clashes against England and Scotland – with captain Steffan Hughes partnered by RGC 1404's Harri Evans in midfield.

Jack Dixon, the Dragons' first-choice inside centre, is on the bench but is likely to slot in alongside Hughes in June's tournament Down Under.

Under-20s head coach Byron Hayward hands starts to six more Rodney Parade youngsters – fly-half Angus O'Brien, scrum-half Luc Jones, hooker Elliot Dee, lock Joe Davies, openside Scott Matthews and number eight James Benjamin.

Loosehead Luke Garrett, lock Scott Andrews, fly-half Ethan Davies and flanker Ollie Griffiths are among the replacements.

The Dragons contingent for New Zealand stays at 11 despite Hallam Amos' call-up to the probables squad for the Wales trial match.

His place goes to RGC's Afon Bagshaw but fly-half Davies is called up as a replacement for Luke Price, who has damaged ankle ligaments.

"Hallam has a great chance to be picked for South Africa and it won't affect our squad in so much as he wasn't part of our Six Nations squad," said Hayward.

"Luke Price edged Ethan Davies in the initial selection and it's unfortunate for him to miss out like this but Ethan played a big role in our Six Nations and has slotted straight back into the squad."
