HALLAM Amos starts on the right wing for Wales against the All Blacks on Saturday while his Dragons teammates Leon Brown and Cory Hill will come off the bench to take on the world champions.

Head coach Warren Gatland has made three changes to the side that opened the autumn series against Australia, two enforced because of injuries to centre Jonathan Davies and wing/full-back Liam Williams.

The latter blow means Amos retains his starting berth from last weekend’s Test against Georgia and the 23-year-old will aim to score for a third weekend on the spin.

The Dragons speedster started all three clashes against the All Blacks on the tour to New Zealand in the summer of 2016 and will win his 14th cap this weekend.

"Hallam has drawn the short straw and has shifted to the right wing and Steff stays on the left wing," said Gatland.

"We've been criticised in the past for picking big, physical players but it's not the biggest back three in world rugby even though Hallam when I made a comment about that took a bit of offence to that!

"We like to think that we pick on form and these guys at the moment are the best guys at our disposal and we are excited about their footwork and ability to score tries."

Davies’ spot goes to Scott Williams while the management have also retained Rhys Webb after the scrum-half’s successful return from injury against the Lelos last weekend.

Flanker Justin Tipuric will provide spark from the bench after recovering from a thigh injury.

“It’s great to name an unchanged pack from the Australia match, we were pleased with a lot of aspects of our second half performance in that match so we are looking to build on that on Saturday,” said Gatland.

“We have a couple of injuries in the backline but we also have players on form starting. Steff Evans and Hallam Amos are both on form and we are excited to see what they can do.

“We have spoken heavily about opportunity this autumn and there is no greater opportunity than lining up against the world champions.”
