Oh well there's always next year, or the year after, or the year after, but in reality, they never will win anything. Time to wrap up this plastic nonsense and replace it with a team of proven quality and a proud history. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to put Newport RFC back in it's rightful place.

Torfaen dad backs campaign to end toys by gender
Katie Re-Registered wrote:
This is a great campaign in my opinion. It's great that so many people now feel empowered enough to challenge the lies that they've been fed for years by the gendered, patriarchal establishment.
It's completely stupid and oppressive to force people to conform to narrowly defined gender identities which often have nothing to do with their own individual natures and inclinations. Adults forbidding children to drink out of cups because they are a certain colour only goes to show the absolute insanity of the sexists and gender defenders! I say get rid of gendered dress codes in the school and workplace next - there is really absolutely no need for them aside from the political agenda of pushing sexist notions of masculinity and femininity as 'gospel'.
It's also no wonder that such a large percentage of children who are transgendered attempt, and in some cases tragically suceed, in taking their own lives. All the damage that genderism causes is totally needless.
While we're at it - and probably concerning mostly adults - maybe supermarkets and newsagents might also think about why on earth they are putting magazines like The Economist and New Scientist under the sections on the magazine rack marked 'Men's Interests', too?

US ELECTION: Our man's magical night on Times Square
King of the Hill wrote:
British elections have always been a far more reserved affair - it's in our nature. Americans are the masters of the razzermatazz - they always have been. Whoever wrote this must have a very short memory. Anyone else remember the sheer joy and optimism when Labour came into power in the mid-90s? for beter or worse, it was still an incredible moment for us Brits. And no, the British election won't attract as many voters. Being a tiny island with a small fraction of the USA's population is a small factor methinks.

ARGUS COMMENT: One man's meat?
"So changing what’s on your plate could change the world? We find the whole thing very hard to swallow."Is the Argus reporter questioning the science, or just hating the idea of a couple less bacon sarnies per week?'Cos the science is pretty irrefutable, I'm afraid. Growing grain and veg to feed a cow to be slaughtered to feed a human is more energy intensive than growing grain and veg to feed the human directly.Ask your parents or grandparents if they used to eat meat every day.

Great news! It's obvious that demand for Welsh Medium secondary education will continue to grow. So..... why doesn't Newport City Council invest in a Welsh Medium Secondary school in Newport? Most of the 64% of the pupils who live outside Torfaen, live in Newport. Many of them have to endure over an hour's bus journey to Trevethin.
