FANS of vintage cars were in for a treat today (Sunday) as the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club of Wales visited Montgomery as part of its annual members’ weekend.

More than 30 Rolls Royce cars were parked up in the town’s Broad Street from around 11.30am onwards, while at the Cottage Inn, the Triumph owners’ club paid a visit with their classic cars.

They were welcomed by Montgomery Mayor Lionel Weaver, Town Crier Sue Blower and Mike Mills of Destination Montgomery.

The Cloverlands Model Car Museum was open so families could pick up the ‘Town of Little Cars’ quiz sheet which could they complete as they walked around town and enjoyed seeing the full size versions of some of the model cars available to view at Cloverlands.
