Walk on by Barry High Street Shopping Quarter
VICTORIAN Barry Dock have announced that it is to stage a new walking tour in Barry - building on its success around the town centre area.
The first High Street Quarter walking tour will take place on Wednesday, March 27.
All will meet outside Barry town railway station at 6pm and run until 8pm.
The walk will encompass Broad Street and High Street and include tales of the Victorian and Edwardian west end.
It will cover industry, innovation, secret societies, religious differences, commerce, angry women, amputations, explosions, mice and mavericks, and it promises plenty of Barritude.
