CHAMBER choir, Priory Singers, are putting final touches to their programme of Baroque music for their upcoming concert.
Priory Singers, based in South Wales, will perform from 7.30pm, at St John the Baptist Church, on Risca Road, on November 10.
The programme will include the ever-popular Gloria, by Antonio Vivaldi, and George Frederic Handel’s earliest surviving score, Dixit Dominus.
Sandwiched between these epic choral masterpieces is the beautiful Viola Concert by Georg Philip Telemann, featuring soloist Elliot Kempton.
The choir, which celebrates their twentieth anniversary next year, will join forces with Orchestra De Cymru, who relish in the sounds and styles of the Baroque repertoire.
Tickets for this spectacular performance are £10, or £8 concessions. Under 18s can get in for free.
You can pre-book, on their website: www.priorysingers.org or by phone: 01633 420183, or you can pay on the door.
