GET out your snap bracelets and take a big sip of your Sunny D, because Cardiff went back to the 1990s, with Vengaboys and Steps on their Party On The Dancefloor tour.

Opening act Max Restaino set the perfect pop tone with a set of songs headlined by his latest single Sugar Rush before Dutch disco group Vengaboys entered the stage with a bang, or more specifically, four booms.

90s hit Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!! sandwiched their opening act which included covers of floorfillers like I Got a Feeling and I Like to Move It and the band reaching nearly two decades back into their bag of tricks with songs like Shalala Lala before taking us to Ibiza and aboard the Vengabus with We Like To Party.

Vengaboys didn't miss a beat and turned the Motorpoint Arena into a giant dance floor, the perfect set up for what was to follow.

Each member of Steps was given a huge cheer when they arrived on stage, with ‘H’s hometown hero status leading to the biggest applause.

H, Lee, Claire, Lisa and Faye opened with Scared of the Dark followed by Deeper Shade of Blue and Chain Reaction which got the crowd reaction the band wanted.

Throughout their set the reunited popstars had the audience dancing to songs like 5,6,7,8 and Better The Devil You Know and swaying to slower songs like When I Said Goodbye and It's The Way You Make Me Feel.

They were supported by a flawless set of backing dancers and the production values were outstanding, with the stage transforming into a hospital ward, a saloon and a wedding venue for the encore, with perhaps their most loved song, Tragedy.

This is a show not to be missed and will be returning to the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff, on December 10.
