THERE is slow traffic - with a reported travel time of an hour - on the M4 westbound around Newport, due to congestion caused by an earlier broken down lorry.
The incident happened between junctions 24 (Coldra) and 25 (Caerleon), and the middle and inside lanes were closed for a time, though both have now reopened.
Congestion stretches back to junction 23 (M48).
