THREE pupils from Kirkbie Kendal School won Kendal Rotary Club's Youth Speaks competition.
The chosen subject of the team made up of Jessica Hartley, Nicole Berry and Hannah Stoddard was "Whose Life is it Anyway? Euthanasia in the Modern Age and Why the Law needs to Change.” They are pictured here with Peter Smith, president of Kendal Rotary Club.
Not only did the three girls win the team prize but they also won individual prizes for being the best chair, best speaker and best vote of thanks proposer.
All the teams taking part were invited to talk on a subject of their choice and had ten minutes to give their presentation.
