What is your response?My husband and I joined slimming world at the beginning of March 2019 . It was the best thing we have done. The week before Christmas I reached my target by losing 6st , dropping from 18 stone 13 lb to 12 st 13 lb. I was a size 22 clothes size and I’m now a 10/12. My husband lost 6 stone too. I am now concentrating on maintaining my weight, while Brian is doing a sponsored slim by losing another 8 stone by November. All the money he raises will go to Children in Need . It’s changed our lives. Emma our group consultant is fantastic and the people In our group are so supportive it’s fantastic. Both of us feel so much better in ourselves and it’s given us a new lease of life. Our group is at Winwick Leisure Centre on Wednesday night from 5-7 pm .

What is your response?I joined Slimming World Great Sankey on Easter Monday 2015. I was a Type 2 Diabetic on insulin injecting twice daily. I was fearful that I wouldn't live to see my grandchildren or my great grandchildren grow up. Within 2 years I had lost 4st 4 lbs and have managed to keep at my target weight. I was able to come off insulin within 5 months. I still attend Jenny Osborne Noon Rockers each Monday. I have made lifelong friends there, won Woman of the Year twice, Miss Slinky and Diamond Target Member of the Year all voted for by my fellow members of the class. I am part of a walking group founded at Noon Rockers and my friends at SW are friends for life. I am so glad I walked through Jenny's door and I am most happiest when my fellow members see me as an inspiration. It's coming up to my 70th birthday and I'm still a Brownie leader after 25 years and feeling healthier than I have ever been. Thank you to Slimming World Great Sankey

What is your response?In 2015 I walked in the doors of Slimming World and lost 5stone 1lb and I've since ran 5 marathons. Since 2017, my life was in complete tatters and I managed to turn myself completely around. I run a SW group in Newton and love it. It's life-changing and the best thing I ever did was walking through those doors for help, love and support

What is your response?On a weight loss journey of a year now and I feel bloody great. My total loss is 52lb but I've still a way to go. I have twins aged 8 and a 2 year old. I do pole dancing to stay fit and love the gym. I have now found a love for food and cooking and I have changed for the better. I feel great in clothes from a size 18 to a size 12 and I couldn’t be happier

What is your response?After not being happy with myself for a long time, and basically hating looking in the mirror I decided to do something about it! I’ve lost 3 Stone doing the Keto Diet which is amazing. It’s a way of life for me now. I eat very little carbs, I prep my meals weekly! I count, weigh and measure everything I eat and drink but I love it. I’m now very healthy in my body and my mind which is the best feeling ever

What is your response?After seeing pictures of myself it eventually hit me that I was overweight and I vowed to change things. On January 2nd 2019 I started eating better foods and eating at the correct times and in moderation. I joined the gym and started running on the treadmill which then helped with my confidence and I started running in the outdoors. I then ran for charity in the Manchester 10k in May 2019. I'm still doing the exact same thing now and havn't looked back since. There's still a long way to go but if I can do it so can you!
