A MAN appeared in court charged with grievously harming a man, stealing his phone, and threatening another.
Thomas Baker appeared via video link at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with three offences.
The 40-year-old of Railway Road, Newhaven, was charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent last Tuesday against a man in Kendal Court.
Unemployed Baker was also charged with stealing a mobile phone and Sim card belonging to the victim.
And he was charged with threatening another man and causing him to fear violence would be used against him.
Baker did not enter any pleas at the hearing.
He was remanded in custody until June 18 when his trial is set to begin at Lewes Crown Court.
