More than 60 business people attended the third event of 2018 of Torfaen’s popular business club, Torfaen Business Voice.

Held at the Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club, Cwmbran, the event provided a forum for making new contacts through the club’s facilitated networking activity.

One of the benefits of being a member of Torfaen Business Voice is the opportunity to present to all attendees in the ‘Member Spotlight’ session. This time it was the turn of Jim Keech and Gareth Brenton, of the Congress Theatre, Cwmbran.

In addition, guest speaker Anthony McAllister, business development manager of PDR, International Centre for Design & Research set up by Cardiff Metropolitan University and sponsors of the event, spoke about PDR’s work with businesses around new knowledge in product design, development and research. A buffet and informal networking rounded off this well attended event.

Torfaen Business Voice Membership, to include the remainder of 2018 and all of 2019, starts from £90.

The next event will take place on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
