Members of the team at Cwmbran-based RPS Technology Solutions will be participating in the Cardiff 10K and Cardiff Half, to help raise funds for the firm's chosen charity.

The team will also be hosting a Big Breakfast in November in aid of the charity, Prostate Cymru.

The telecommunications provider, leading the industry with more than 50 years of experience, offers a wide range of services, the firm specialise in Voice Over IP Telecom solutions and support services, providing SMEs with the technology needed to help their businesses grow.

Prostate Cymru was established in 2008 and is the leading charity in the Principality working with medical professionals in the fight against all prostate diseases. Its mission is to raise awareness, promote understanding and fund both the latest medical equipment and the training of healthcare professionals.

The charity was set up in order to provide men across Wales with equal access to testing, treatment, knowledge and support.

RPS has been an avid supporter of the charity, having previously assisted it by installing an entirely new and effective telecommunication system to aid it in its vital work.

Marc Jones, senior engineer at RPS, is training hard for the half marathon, eager to show his support for Prostate Cymru.

He said: “We are proud to support such a brilliant charity, whose work continues to make a positive difference in fighting prostate cancer. I am excited to be running the half marathon for such a worthy cause.”

Natalie Strange, operations and marketing manager at RPS, has entered the Cardiff 10K.

She said: “I’m excited to be running the Cardiff 10K this September. To be able to do it while supporting such a good cause is even better.”
