Newport-based financial services business Kymin is getting into the Christmas spirit and helping raise money for St David’s Hospice Care
The firm, which is based in Bridge Street, put down their ledgers for a moment and tried on their festive jumpers for size to help promote Jolly Jumper Day.
Kymin managing director Robin Hall said: “We’re great supporters of St David’s Hospice Care which does such marvellous work throughout our community every day of the year including Christmas Day. We’re delighted to carry on with our support at Christmas and put on these jolly jumpers.”
Jolly Jumper Day is on Friday, December 13, this year, although organisers, Newport-based St David’s Hospice Care, which is providing a fund raising kits, say any day will do as long as you’re jolly.
Organiser Skye Lewis, of St David’s Hospice Care, said: “From the office to the classroom, by getting Christmassy for the cause you are helping to provide much needed hospice care to patients all over south east Wales and Powys during the festive period.
“It is an even more poignant time for patients and families who are facing Christmas with a life limiting illness. Just by donning your festive knit and donating you are making sure that our nurses can continue to care when patients need us most. We would love for you to donate whatever you can manage but also have fun doing it. Every penny helps!”
