Newport-based Foxwood Recruitment has a new den in the city centre.

The company has moved to new offices in Clytha Park Road to accommodate the company’s expansion plans following a 64 per cent increase in turnover over the past 12 months.

Established just four years ago by Jonathan Davies and Victoria Morris, the recruitment company has certainly found its niche in a competitive marketplace and secured candidates for a growing portfolio of clients based locally and nationally as well as a couple of international placements.

The continued success of Foxwood mirrors the findings of the latest Labour Market Outlook report prepared by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

In the report, the net employment score which measures employment confidence indicated a rise in the number of employers anticipating an increase in the total staffing levels, with those in the construction, admin and support services and healthcare reporting the highest rises.

As well as moving to a new den, the Foxwood team has appointed a new cub to its pack.

International management graduate Alex Everett completed his MSc from Cardiff University this summer and has joined the team. Alex, who is also a keen rugby player, is currently playing with Cardiff and Cardiff Blues A has brought his competitive edge to the office.
