Award-winning Welsh homebuilder Llanmoor Homes, which is currently building the 263-home Hawtin Meadows development in Pontllanfraith, has announced a phased return to construction on its sites across South Wales.

While construction sites have been deemed a permitted activity by government subject to maintaining social distancing and other guidance, Llanmoor considered it essential that procedures were put in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of its workforce, their families and its customers and took the difficult decision to close the business with effect from March 24.

New working practices and protocols have now been prepared, taking into account guidance from government, the HSE and other organisations, to allow a phased return to work across Llanmoor’s developments.

The company’s site management will be starting implementation measures as to its new procedures with effect from Monday May 11 and proceeding to a phased return of the workforce from May 18.

Due to the new procedures and protocols, it will take some time for the business to re-establish its build programme and timeframes.

Llanmoor’s sales centres will not re-open to visitors for the immediate future, but with effect from Thursday May 14 its sales team at each development will be contactable either by telephone or email. They will be making contact with customers to update them and assist them with any questions as soon as they can. The sales team will also be available to assist new customers with any information relating to the development.

Llanmoor has several active developments across South Wales as well as Hawtin Meadows development in Pontllanfraith. These include the 240-home Cae Sant Barrwg development at Pandy Road, Bedwas, the 55-home development at Bedwellty Field, Aberbargoed, and the 10-home Eglwys Nunydd development in Margam.
