A Cwmbran law firm has been praised by a governing body for its adaptability and commitment to client care after it once again surpassed a quality kitemark accreditation.

Rubin Lewis O’Brien has achieved Lexcel accreditation, which is the legal quality kitemark that represents high standards of excellence in client care and business management. Awarded by the national Law Society for England and Wales, it is widely respected and a demonstration of customer care.

Managing partner at Rubin Lewis O’Brien Sam George said: “Our firm is delighted to once again surpass the necessary standards in order to proudly hold the Lexcel accreditation. Whilst this year’s audit was carried out remotely due to Covid-19, it allowed us to demonstrate our commitment to our clients and our adaptability under current regulations and social distancing measures.

“I am extremely proud of our team, not only for achieving the accreditation but for preparing a huge volume of work in order for the audit to take place. Many, many hours of work was carried out ahead of our audit, with staff interviews being conducted via Zoom, which further demonstrated our ability to adapt under Covid-19.

“I wish to publicly thank all staff for their hard work prior to the audit and particular thanks to those who were interviewed and performed so well. Lexcel is an extremely important accreditation for us and I am thrilled that our people were able to demonstrate our stringent quality processes as well as our commitment to our clients in a remote fashion.”
