THE team at Newbridge Leisure Centre have triumphed in achieving a national quality award for the fourth year running.

The assessment consisted of mystery visits and an on-site assessment. Strengths highlighted in the assessment included an "excellent friendly welcome" from staff and "very good cleanliness and presentation standards".

Councillor Nigel George, cabinet member for Community and Leisure Services said: “I am thrilled that Newbridge has once again been successful in gaining the Quest quality mark status. The dedicated staff work hard to ensure that the highest of standards are achieved to meet the needs of customers.”

Quest is the UK quality scheme for sport and leisure facility management and is the recognised industry standard, endorsed by governing bodies such as Sport Wales and the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management.
