TEENAGE scrum-half Dan Babos returns to the Dragons A line-up for their Celtic Cup finale against the Scarlets in Llandovery on Sunday (kick-off 1.30pm).

The 18-year-old, who made 13 appearance for Bernard Jackman’s seniors last season, will take to the field at Church Bank after spending the last three weeks with Cross Keys in the Principality Premiership.

Academy manager James Chapron makes four personnel changes to his pack with loosehead Scott Evans and hooker Zac Hewlett forming a young front row with Chris Coleman.

James Thomas, providing experience along with centre James Benjamin and fly-half Jacob Botica, moves from flanker to lock with Max Williams coming into the XV alongside him in the second row.

Ben Fry starts at blindside to form a back row with his teammates at last summer’s World Rugby U20 Championship, captain Lennon Greggains and Taine Basham.

The three-quarters are unchanged from last week’s 48-29 loss to unbeaten Leinster in Ystrad Mynach.

The Dragons prop up the Welsh group and cannot qualify for the final; their hosts will take on the top Irish province if they claim a bonus point win in Llandovery.

If the Scarlets slip up then either Cardiff Blues or the Ospreys, who meet at the Arms Park, could overtake them.

The game has been moved back a day because of poor weather.
