TWO sides with identical records clash at Parc y Scarlets tomorrow (kick-off 2.30pm) as Bedwas head west to take on one of the three teams below them.

Stefan Sankala’s Bedwas secured a much-needed bonus-point win away to Gwent rivals Cross Keys last Saturday, coming out on top in a game that produced 78 points.

Llanelli were involved in a match that produced even more points – 93 to be exact – but they were on the wrong end of a 52-41 scoreline against Cardiff at the Arms Park.

After eight fixtures of the new term, Sankala’s troops and Paul Fisher’s charges, who got off to a rocky start, have two wins and six defeats under their belts.

The previous meeting between the teams in Llanelli was at the end of last season when the hosts edged a thrilling encounter 31-30.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Bargoed, fresh from a superb 38-18 triumph over Aberavon at Bargoed Park, make the trip north to play RGC 1404.

RGC have lost three of their last four games while Bargoed’s defeat of the Wizards made it back-to-back successes for the first time this season.

Bargoed are now out of the danger zone, albeit by just a point, and sit five behind RGC who lie one place above them in the table.

Meanwhile, struggling Swansea host Llandovery, Cardiff go to Aberavon and Carmarthen Quins entertain Bridgend.

In the Championship, unbeaten Pontypool welcome mid-table Maesteg Quins to Pontypool Park and bottom side Newbridge have home advantage when they take on Tata Steel.

Pooler are two points behind leaders Cardiff Met, who they host on November 24, but have played a game less than their rivals.
