THE last full weekend of fixtures in the Principality Premiership this season marks the end of the 2018-19 campaign for three of Gwent’s five top-flight clubs – and it’s a crucial final game for one of them.

Bedwas host Swansea today in what looks like being their farewell match before relegation to the Championship along with Bargoed, Cross Keys and Neath.

Stefan Sankala’s men must beat the All Whites at Bridge Field or they are down, but even if they do win, Bridgend can relegate them with victory away to Aberavon.

And if results don’t go the way of the Ravens this afternoon, they have the luxury of another game remaining to preserve their top-tier status, albeit at Pontypridd.

Bedwas could secure a promotion-relegation play-off against Pontypool, however, the chances of that happening are extremely remote with Llanelli, the side above them, nailed on to beat Neath.

Craig Warlow says goodbye to the Newport faithful as he takes charge of the Black and Ambers for the last time when Llandovery visit Rodney Parade.

Forwards coach Ty Morris is set to take over from Warlow, who is stepping down to spend more time with his family.

The match also marks wing Jonathan Morris’ 100th appearance for Newport.

A bonus-point win for Ebbw Vale at Cardiff Arms Park would see the Steelmen finish the season on 100 points.

They may well find themselves in second place at the end of 80 minutes, but as Llandovery, Cardiff and Pontypridd have fixtures left, fifth is probably the best Greg Woods’ charges can hope for.

Meanwhile, Cross Keys host RGC 1404 in their penultimate outing of the campaign, with several players on permit from other clubs again helping the home side field a team.

Relegated Keys, whose final game of the season is against Pontypridd at Pandy Park next Wednesday, will want to avoid finishing as bottom Gwent club.

Bargoed could overtake them, although they face a stiff test against Pontypridd at Bargoed Park.

Elsewhere, down in the Championship, Pontypool can complete another perfect season with victory over Trebanos at Pontypool Park.
