PONTYPOOL RFC stalwart Colin Tuckwell has died.
The former secretary was a leading figure for Pooler at the start of the regional rugby era with his endeavours earning the clubman of the year honour in 2016 after his 13th and final year of service.
A welcoming figure at Pontypool Park, Tuckwell played a key role in the rebuilding after the 2012 court case against the Welsh Rugby Union.

He was also involved in the Welsh Charitables RFC.
A Pooler statement read: “He helped bring about stability during uncertain times and his commitment was unwavering.
“Colin truly was an asset to both Pontypool RFC and Welsh rugby. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Colin’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
