WALES manager Jayne Ludlow has named a 20-player squad to travel to Belarus for the third match of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2021 qualification campaign on October 8.

Ludlow welcomes back midfielder Rachel Rowe and defender Nadia Lawrence who have been out with injuries.

Meanwhile Georgia Walters will be looking to earn her first cap after impressing so far this season for Tranmere Rovers.

Wales are unbeaten in their qualifying round group after a 6-0 win in the Faroe Islands and a 2-2 draw against Northern Ireland at Rodney Parade last month.

The triumph in the Faroes came courtesy of a hat-trick from Natasha Harding, an own goal and further strikes from Emma Jones and Rhiannon Roberts.

Jones and Kayleigh Green looked to have put Ludlow’s team on track for another win over Northern Ireland in Newport but a stoppage-time howler from goalkeeper Laura O’Sullivan allowed the visitors to snatch a point.

Belarus, who also beat the Faroe Islands 6-0, last faced Wales in a World Cup qualifier back in 2014 in Minsk when a Harding hat-trick earned her side a 3-0 win.

Wales squad: Laura O’Sullivan, Claire Skinner (both Cardiff City Ladies FC), Sophie Ingle (Chelsea FC Women), Hayley Ladd (Manchester United Women FC), Loren Dykes, Gemma Evans both (Bristol City Women FC), Rhiannon Roberts (Liverpool FC Women), Charlie Estcourt (Charlton Athletic Women FC – on loan from Reading FC Women), Anna Filbey (Tottenham Hotspur Women FC), Angharad James (Reading FC Women), Elise Hughes (Everton Ladies FC), Rachel Rowe, Natasha Harding (both Reading FC Women), Emma Jones (Lewes FC Women), Megan Wynne (Tottenham Hotspur Women FC), Helen Ward (Watford FC Ladies), Kayleigh Green (Brighton & Hove Albion Women FC), Josie Green (Tottenham Hotspur Women FC), Nadia Lawrence (Cardiff City Ladies), Georgia Walters (Tranmere Rovers Ladies FC).
