ALL forms of rugby in Wales have been suspended for the remainder of the month because of coronavirus.
The Welsh Rugby Union ban starts at 6pm today and will run until and including Monday, March 30.
Some community level matches did take place today.
"The WRU has taken this decision in the interests of players, supporters, volunteers, referees, stakeholders and Welsh communities in general," the WRU said in a statement.
The decision was made on the basis of "expert medical advice."
It is understood the ban extends to training.
WRU chairman Gareth Davies has defended the postponement Wales' Six Nations match against Scotland just 24 hours before the start.
On Friday the Union said the game would go ahead, but then did a U-turn because of coronavirus.
