NEWPORT County AFC may not have the support of the Amber Army roaring on the team due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, but that doesn’t mean that fans make their presence felt at Rodney Parade.

The club have recently announced Present at Parade - which will allow fans to have images of themselves displayed on a large banner in the South Stand.

The support of fans is irreplaceable, but while not be physically present at the stadium during these unprecedented times, the support of the Amber Army is sure to be felt by Michael Flynn’s men.

The banner will sit proudly in the stadium until full crowds are able to return.

You can proudly take your place on the banner at a cost of £25, and will need to send in a photo of yourself wearing your black and amber colours by 4pm on Friday, October 9.

Supporters will need to send over an image (in JPEG format) to office@newport-county.co.uk, accompanied with the confirmation number from your purchase.

Alternatively, you can call the ticketing office on 01633 415376 and place your order over the phone.

The campaign will be carried out on a first-come-first-served basis.

Manager Michael Flynn said: “We have really missed the support of the fans during the first few games of the season.

"Their absence has been felt by the players and staff, particularly against Swansea City where I’m sure they would have had the stadium rocking.

"But I would like to thank everyone for following the EFL and Government guidelines.

“You have done the club proud in the way that you have conducted yourselves over the last few months, which have been difficult for everyone.

"We know you’re right behind us from afar, but hopefully the Present at Parade initiative will give you the chance to feel as if you are here with us.”
